After the great welcome last year for Steve and his Mr Whippy van – The Friends decided to do it all over again this year!
That was a happy day back in July 2023 – one member of the hospital’s NHS staff told us then: “We’re all smiling!”
So we’re showing here this year’s smiles as members of the Epping Forest and Mental Health Unit teams chose their 2024 treats at the Mr Whippy van.
Over the lunchtime break the queue just got longer and longer in the welcome sunshine! It was indeed a happy day with lots of smiles. The Friends were delighted to treat and thank these members of the hospital’s teams who look after patients on the St.Margaret’s site.
