For many years now Friends have visited the Epping Forest Unit and the Mental Health Unit near Christmas time . They have brought funds for Christmas cheer on the in-patient wards.
This is always welcomed by the nursing staff who can purchase gifts, festive decorations and special seasonal treats for all those having treatment – especially those still in hospital on Christmas Day.
Friends of St. Margaret’s committee members Anne Munro and Christine Gardner present MHU Clinical Matron Rianut Balagu and a colleague with £400 for Christmas cheer on the three wards in the Mental Health Unit.
