Over £1.6k raised at Spring Lunch

A steady stream of Friends and supporters came to Theydon Bois Village Hall in mid-March,  for the annual Friends of St. Margaret’s Spring Lunch.

Throughout the day guests could enjoy coffee, tea, salad lunches and a huge, delicious variety of cakes – home-made by the Friends’ committee members.

The Hall was also full of stalls selling a wide range of items:  from Spring flowers from Matthew’s Plants, jewellery,  cards, bric-a-brac, fashion –  to tickets for the colourful Tombola prizes.  The Town Mayor of Epping drew the winning tickets for the Raffle prizes  – all donated – and two generously presented by local Epping businesses: Piccola and Daniel Robinson.

THE RESULT…

£1,632!

We’d like to thank all the guests who gave us such splendid support

This great total means that the Friends can meet the frequent requests made by wards and departments in the Epping Forest Unit and Mental Health Unit on the St.Margaret’s site.
