A call for left-over wool

There’s an appeal from St.Margaret’s wards for:

  • Left-over balls of wool,
  • Strands of textured ribbon, beads and pieces of fabric

All these can be made into TWIDDLE MUFFS.

What are TWIDDLE MUFFS and why are we making this appeal?

The attached page from NHS Dementia Care tells you all you need know – complete with instructions.

CAN YOU HELP?

The above leaflet originated from another NHS Trust.  If you are able to donate wool or make some twiddle muffs, please phone  07740724647 where a Friend of St. Margaret’s will give you further help to get your donation to the Epping Forest Unit in our hospital.

Update: We were overwhelmed by your generosity in this initiative. As a result, we have enough wool for the moment. Thank you!
