This year the charity’s committee again invited guests to our annual Spring fundraising event in Theydon Bois.
The day offered a range of stalls, from plants to jewellery, cards to fashion, as well as an intriguing bric-a-brac table, spring plants, a Tombola and more.
Throughout the day, light refreshments were offered, and tables in the centre of the hall were full of friends and neighbours meeting up for a chat and welcome refreshments.
And they were all amazed by the incredibly long list of special prizes (and we mean special!) in our Spring Raffle – afternoon tea at smart venues, a lesson in sky diving, fine wines, hampers and a free holiday in a Devon cottage, complete with a hot tub! And many, many more!
The results? The raffle raised £1,529, with the cash collected on stalls and the Tombola – the total for the day was £2,919.40!
